The Business Development Manager, Federal Sales Group, is responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual financial and pipeline targets by identifying, qualifying, following the RWD sales process to conclusion and closing sales. The Business Development Manager, Federal Sales Group, is expected to prospect within their assigned territory, qualify leads, conduct solution demonstrations, write effective proposals, negotiate, and close new business. In addition he/she will function as the customer contact and advocate building a deep understanding of each customer’s strategic direction, identifying and shaping customer requirements, developing a winning strategy and teaming across RWD. The position requires an individual who brings deep Department of Defense knowledge, has experience in complex selling environments and proven results growing new business initiatives and penetrating account relationships.
